This small scale non branded packaging concept was designed for a UK wholesale food supplier for the catering industry such as pubs, restaurants and the like. The idea was to design a modern contemporary packaging range with an enticing ‘gastro- pub’ look and feel. The sachets are single-portion packs and small in size and it was important the individual products could easily be differentiated with a clear product navigation. We think we achieved this using known associated colors to the actual product and strong typography with a clear stand out.
The design itself is inspired by the water colour painting technique known as wet-on-wet, using paint splatters giving cues to sauce without it looking messy.
